First Baptist Church of Kirkland has a long history of service in our Kirkland
neighborhood, dating back to 1888 when a Baptist church from Seattle sent
missionaries to the East Side with the intent of working with the Indians and
early settlers.
It currently serves our community through the leadership of Pastor Vince Armfield. Vince has been with the First Baptist Church since 1993, first as a member then serving as a Youth Pastor and Assistant Pastor before becoming the Senior Pastor in 2005.
